In such a cunning way, they made 900 tons of metal instead of 100 theoretically possible

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

How to create a fairy tale for an investor?
Imagine a company that has created an industry portfolio of mineral assets.

They have shares in four plants. In accordance with the number of shares (% stake), they receive 25 tons of metal from each plant. Total is 100 tons of metal:
Plant 1:  They have a 100 % stake in the first plant. They  get  25 tons of metal from first plant.
Plant 2: They have a 20 % stake in the second plant. They get 25 tons of metal from the second plant.
Plant 3: They have a 10 % stake in the third  plant. They get 25 tons of metal from the third  plant.
Plant 4: They have a 5 % stake in the fourth plant. They get 25 tons of metal from the fourth plant.

They "forget" about other shareholders. They remove the word "20 %, 10 %, 5 % STAKE" from their reports and report:
"The company has a industry portfolio of mineral assets and has produced 900 tons of metal."

In such a cunning way, they made 900 tons of metal instead of 100 theoretically possible.
Do you think that there are 900 tons of metal?
No! They have only 100 tons of metal.
800 tons of metal is fiction. This is fairy tale for the investor!
P.S. Based on real events.

It’s not true that Chile is in first place in the global ranking of copper producers

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

Let's count together:

In 2018, they produced 5,83 million tonnes in Chile.
Of these, only copper cathodes is real copper. This is 27 % or 1,57 million tons of copper.

The remaining 73% are not copper. These are stones, sand, minerals containing copper, but they are not metallic copper.  They call it "copper concentrate", "fine copper contained in concentrate", "cobre fino contenido en concentrado"...

They did not receive 4,26 million tons of copper, but loaded copper concentrate on ships and sent it to Japan, China and so on. About 12 million tons of copper concentrate. This is China, Japan and other countries received real copper from Chilean stones and minerals.

It is not true that Chile is the first copper producing country in the world.

China is in first place and Japan is in second place
in the global ranking of copper producers.

The difference between ORE and METAL exists!

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

How to create a fairy tale for an investor?

Imagine a mineral deposit from which 180 tons of metal ore are extracted.

The mine: In fact, the mine produced 180 tons of ore.

They remove the word "THE ORE" from their reports and report: "The mine produced 180 tons of THE METAL."

In such a cunning way, they made 180 tons of metal.

Do you think that there are 180 tons of metal that you sell on the exchange at an expensive price?
No, this metal does not exist!
This is fairy tale for the investor!

 Price of error:
The dumper with bauxite ore costs $ 108,000-540,000 (180 tons).
The dumper with aluminium costs $3,810,600 (180 tons).
The dumper with aluminum costs more than a dumper with bauxite ore.

The difference in cost is $ 3,702,600-3,270,600.

The negative consequences of this error: Investors will see the difference very well. Lead costs (METAL PRICE) $ 1.0 but lead concentrate costs (MINERAL PRICE) $ 0.2-0.3. Everyday, investors will have a significant loss of money ($ 0.7-0.8).

The difference between RAW MATERIALS (ore) and METAL exists!

IMHO: This is one of the reasons why the recovery is 115-250 % in plants.
P.S. Based on real events.

How to create a fairy tale for an investor?

Imagine a mineral deposit from which 100 tons of metal concentrate are extracted.
They extract metal in the following sequence: the mine, the processing plant.

The mine: In fact, the mine produced 15000 tons of ore with a metal content of 0.66 %.

The processing plant: In fact, the processing plant processed 15000 tons of ore and produced 300 tons of THE METAL CONCENTRATE.

In this case, "THE METAL CONCENTRATE" a semi-product that cannot be sold on the exchange.
Metal concentrate is is 300 tons of particles of mineral but not metal ingots. The metal content in the concentrate is 33 %. The particle size of the mineral 44 microns.
It can be sold at a cheap price. Theoretically, the buyer can get 100 tons of metal from 300 tons of concentrate at his metallurgical plant.

They remove the word "THE CONCENTRATE" from their reports and report: "The processing plant produced 300 tons of THE METAL."

In such a cunning way, they made 300 tons of metal instead of 100 theoretically possible.
