Do you think the surplus is 200 tons of metal? No, this metal does not exist!

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

How to create a fairy tale for an investor?
Imagine a mineral deposit from which 100 tons of metal are extracted.
They extract metal in the following sequence: the mine, the processing plant, the metallurgical plant.

The mine: In fact, the mine produced 15000 tons of ore with a metal content of 0.66 %.
They report: "The mine produced 100 tons of metal in ore.

The processing plant: In fact, the processing plant processed 15000 tons of ore and produced 300 tons of concentrate with a metal content of 33 % and threw 14700 tons into waste.
They report: "The processing plant produced 100 tons of metal in concentrate.

The metallurgical plant: In fact, metallurgical plant processed 300 tons of ore and produced 100 tons of metal and threw 200 tons into waste.
They report: "The metallurgical plant produced 100 tons of metal.

In such a cunning way, they made 300 tons of metal instead of 100 theoretically possible.

Do you think the surplus is 200 tons of metal?
No, this metal does not exist!
 This is fairy tale for the investor!

IMHO: This is one of the reasons why the recovery is 115-250 % in plants.

P.S. Based on real events.

WHY ARE WE DOING PERSONAL RESEARCH?

 By Ph.D. Igor Bobin & Ph.D. Natalia Petrovskaya
Once upon a time, when we were still studying in graduate school, at one of the workshops-trainings in psychology, we expressed our key idea in which we see the main condition for our creative implementation as scientists: "That we do not want to have bosses!" Then this statement of ours caused surprise among graduate students and professors of that country, which is not completely free from totalitarianism (not free in their own heads first of all): "How is it without bosses?" Then we ourselves did not fully understand why this idea was important for us, we just felt like that, and this statement organically burst out. Later we fully understood it, and this became our credo for all our scientific activity.
Indeed, the head, scientific adviser and spiritual guru is needed only by a novice young scientist. On the contrary, a made scientist should have neither leaders nor authorities.
Only one truth is credible for a real scientist as for any creative person.
Of course, we will be opposed by the multi-member voices of scientists from numerous universities, research institutes, R&D centers, etc.: "How then can a scientist build a career?" But if we turn to the fountainhead with the question "What is a true scientist?" then we will see such signs of a real scientist, they are well known from classical philosophy:
A sincere desire to comprehend the truth (Without substituting the goals of cognition for a career, status, etc. Without this one point, there is no scientist);
Non-conformism (Independence from other people's opinions, from "likes", fashion trends);
Cosmopolitanism (Independence from the interests of a country, religious or national group, region, university, research institute, department, scientific school, etc.);
High competence in their field. Wide scientific interests (Ability to independently learn the truth, that is, to solve key problems and draw conclusions at the interfaces between sciences. The ability to prove the correctness of their judgments by rigorous calculations for himself, not by voting);
Openness of knowledge (Ability to openly and in a clear language to share acquired knowledge with the whole world, transfer his own knowledge to other areas, and not hide knowledge in "closed" journals);
High responsibility (Ability to be fully personally responsible for the results);
High morality (The desire to increase good in the world, not to increase evil, not to participate in lies);
Self-restraint (The desire to avoid excesses).
We ourselves sincerely try to adhere to these principles, and this inevitably led us from the university to the independent science.
Indeed, transferring these listed categories to real life, we see that a researcher at a university or research institute (if he is an organic and integral element of this hierarchical structure, not a dissident) can no longer automatically be a true scientist. It has other goals and objectives.
This is an employee, performer, teacher, administrator, manager, leader, city man of science, anyone, but NOT SCIENTIST in the original antique sense of the word.
Any career sets almost insurmountable boundaries for genuine scientific activity; any voting on a scientific issue immediately obscures the truth with the opinion of the majority (usually mediocre). For a long time (tens of years) we were and worked in such large teams in different qualities, including university top management (administration, rector's office) and we personally know the pros and cons.
Such deeply structured and regulated scientific teams as universities and research institutes in any country are characterized by:
High conformism (A necessary condition for a successful career. A researcher must take generally accepted points of view. If his opinion differs from the generally accepted one, contradicts the opinion of an official guru, he will inevitably become a dissident, even if his point of view is correct. This happened to us. Also there is great the influence of scientific fashion. They do not what is needed and important, but what is fashionable, and a career goes faster);
Researchers are not free to make independent decisions (Boss takes the money and poses impossible tasks for the researchers);
Serving the group interests (Sometimes this is directly related to participating in a lie. A great desire to give out wishful thinking, not yet begun as finished, etc.);
Incompetence of scientific employees as a whole, narrow specialization (Each individual highly specialized employee does not have the knowledge and skills sufficient to independently carry out a major scientific task. Therefore, a large team is needed. For the same reason, there is a fear of global problems, because employees do not understand, do not represent what the world needs and how to create it. There is no broad vision of the problem, wide scope. Large scientific teams are contradictory and slow in global tasks, them easier to solve particular problems: to count the bubbles and particles, etc.);
Collective “responsibility”, or rather, collective irresponsibility for results (Inevitable erosion of responsibility in a large highly specialized team, which is very convenient for managers and employees);
Low morality (Replacing morality with the interests of the collective and work ethic, cynicism, appeal to the laws of wildlife: "The Law of the Jungle", "Food Chain", etc. The unprincipled career building even to the detriment of scientific results);
Scientific feudalism (Organically derived from the medieval origin of universities and carefully preserved. This is manifested in everything: external attributes, names, charters, traditions and mentality. "... This is my department (chair)!"; "... The honour of the department obliges...! ". This also implies the clan nature of universities);
Clanism (Groups of official scientific feudal gurus and their vassals. They operate at a university or research institute for life. They are fed at the expense of serf post-docs, graduate students and students. Hence, there is a constant struggle of clans for their privileged position, which takes away the main forces and time. Science here is deeply secondary);
Great connections between universities and the elite (Due to the need for elite children to study. Hence the prestige of a career at the university, much is forgiven for the university. Apparently the main role of universities is educational, slightly covered by scientific romance);
Priority of educational activities before scientific at universities (Lectures and exams are public and it cannot be cancelled, but the quality of research is difficult to verify);
Closed knowledge (They hide their articles in "closed" journals (Why?), which not everyone can get to know. As a result, the same studies are often carried out in different countries, the scientific progress stalls);
Low material efficiency of scientific research as a minimum of the benefit/cost function (This follows from the natural interests of a large team to consume as much as possible in conditions of "unlimited" resources. Example: a large state corporation. It is very convenient for managers and employees of universities and research institutes and is very inconvenient for customers of scientific products).
What is the annual budget of a major famous university? Billion dollars or more? What great has the university issued in science this year? Almost nothing? However, as well last year, too  (however, according to formal indicators in the reporting - everything is in order). The main thing is that articles in closed scientific journals are regularly printed; there are few who will see and check them. The fact is that it is unprofitable for a university, as a large social organism, to be especially prolific in science (research institute as well). He is fed by time. And the university is usually inclined to stretch time.
We, as personal researchers, have been free of all this for many years and do what we consider necessary and promising as well as a writer, artist or composer. We openly publish our results. The return to this serfdom of the university we see only in nightmares.
The effectiveness of our research is high. Motivation is excellent. You will ask why?
The high material efficiency of personal scientific research as a maximum of the benefit/cost function follows from the natural reflex of an individual person, to do as much as possible in conditions of limited resources, i.e. - thrift, as opposed to the wastefulness of anonymized large groups. Plus, motivation to work for yourself, not for extraneous (Examples: the building a family budget, a budget for a small or medium private company - they are always super-efficient).
Thus, our desire for personal research is not a whim, but the need to solve complex scientific problems, which in principle cannot be effectively solved in the cumbersome traditional scientific team (as we have shown) even with a gigantic budget.
We all know talented individuals who changed the world with their scientific and philosophical work (Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci, Leo Tolstoy, Nikola Tesla, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, Grigori Perelman and many, many others). For us, they are ... no, not idols, but professional and moral guidelines in our creative scientific work.
We do not unequivocally affirm that universities and research institutes are very bad, and our personal research is excellent. Universities are not competitors to us. So different budgets and different tasks. However, in the world there are a huge number of complex scientific problems that are beyond the cumbersome and clumsy structure of the university and research institutes, but are gracefully solved by our scientific team.
Given our competence as scientists, creative freedom and relatively modest budget, the result of our personal scientific research is often stunning with its grandeur, global nature and practical significance for all of humanity, seriously.
We are ready to share our knowledge and skills with you!
Join us to make a breakthrough into the future with us!

30% is copper recovery in CODELCO "División Chuquicamata" (Chile)? This is a "worldwide achievement". Does anyone have less?

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."
 CODELCO "División Chuquicamata" (Chile)

Owners:  Codelco (Chile)

Let's count together:
They process  354899 tons per day.
If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 130 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.84 %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 1088120 tons per year of copper.

CODELCO "División Chuquicamata" has already received 320744 tons of copper in 2018.
30% is copper recovery in CODELCO "División Chuquicamata" (Chile)? This is a "worldwide achievement". Does anyone have less?

IMHO: Did the plant CODELCO "División Chuquicamata" (Chile) receive 321 thousand tons of copper in concentrate and throw 767  thousand tons of copper into waste?

How can copper recovery at a plant CODELCO "División Ministro Hales" (Chile) be 113 (145) %?

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

 CODELCO "División Ministro Hales" (Chile)

Owners:  Codelco (Chile)

Let's count together:

They process  50000 tons per day.
If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 18.25 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.95 (0.74) %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 173375 (135050) tons per year of copper.

CODELCO "División Ministro Hales" has already received 195485 tons of copper in 2018.
How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?

Copper shortage should be 29410 (60435) tons per year of copper.

How can copper recovery at a plant CODELCO "División Ministro Hales" (Chile) be 113 (145) %? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant CODELCO "División Ministro Hales" (Chile). How did they produce more copper what is contained in the ore?

GENIUS vs. UNIVERSITY

You send me many letters asking me to write my business plan. It is right that you are interested in my opinion. I worked in different universities of the world. I communicate a lot online with different people.

I can share my independent opinion about mining in the world. Everywhere is the same. They promise to do this work and go to the laboratory to do experiments. Next on luck. It turns out or not.

There is no laboratory in the world has enough equipment and specialists to create new generation technologies. Problems are growing. Traditional types of ores are running out but for new ores there is no technology.

I did a little calculation. How much money is needed to create a modest modern ore benefication laboratory.
1. Buildings and facilities – 20 million dollars
2. Equipment and apparatus – 15 million dollars
3. Monthly expenses are more than 15-20 million dollars per month.

At full load, this laboratory and design organization can perform work for a maximum of 2-3 million dollars per month. This whole company of specialists from around the world will be able to perform work only in a close-knit team: because each of them knows only his own problem and does not control the whole situation in the complex.

This means that every month you lose 18-12 million dollars per month (216-144 million dollars a year). You also spent another 35 million on equipment and building. Also You have to spend several million on staff training.

Let’s say that you went the traditional way. You invested hundreds of billions of dollars (for 50-100 years). You have trained hundreds of new specialists, opened new research institutes and laboratories, and issued hundreds of scientific grants. And so, 50-100 years passed, but a miracle did not happen. If you have not yet done this, then stop, and do nothing.

Universities understand that they have no such opportunities, but they really want the money. They create a fairy tale for investors on paper. Next to the sign that this is a student’s educational laboratory of ore beneficiation, new ones will appear: Innovation Center, Technology Center, Technology Certification Center, Certification Center of raw materials (ore, waste), Center for complex processing of raw materials, Laboratory for waste processing and so on.

If earlier it was a backward laboratory with old non-working equipment measuring 100 square meters, now, according to documents, this is a certified scientific center measuring 200-600 square meters and with the latest stunning equipment worth millions dollars.

They enter into their documents famous people who do not even know it. I learned many times that someone enrolled me in my project or scientific school without my consent and permission.

They draw up the necessary documents and begin to search for the simpleton. However, they have no idea what they will do.

I know many such examples. If a researcher can just “eat money” for years without getting the expected final result, then he will do so (Murphy’s Law). The increase in funding for research will only exacerbate this situation.

I suggest that you bypass the path of traditional development.

I considered the costs and did not create a laboratory. I created “PETROVSKY´S MATRIX”.
For many years I have been working on creating a “Mineral Benefication Information System”. I create it with my own money and am the only copyright holder.

This system you need. I don’t need it.

I can create 5 competing technologies for any ore without any information system. It is very difficult and only I can do it. In fact, “Mineral Benefication Information System” will be my only competitor.

You need my “Mineral Benefication Information System” and “Petrovsky’s Matrix”.

No need to teach anyone. For this, you will need centuries of hard work and the abandonment of all your stereotypes, theories and delusions. I think that for you it is almost impossible in the near future.

You need just to create a my smart system and let it work.

You do not need hundreds of specialists in the field of mining, but only a few people to interact with the expert system”Mineral Benefication Information System”. An independent expert system will describe the real situation (only if it is correctly taught) and will give you the accurate way of solving the problem.

Therefore, if we are talking about relatively small investments (about USD 10-20 millions), then I can recommend you to invest in me, this is the most reliable investment.
So, my business plan is an investment in me and under my name. Then we decide what is best for you, we can determine in detail the larger investments (under USD 1 billion and more).

You choose.

Sincerely, Ph.D. Natalia Petrovskaya

How a plant Antofagasta Minerals "CENTINELA" (Chile) can have a 125 % recovery of copper?

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

Antofagasta Minerals "CENTINELA" (Chile)

Owners:
Antofagasta Minerals 70% (Chile)
Marubeni Corporation 30% (Japan)

Let's count together (fase I):

They process  90000 tons of ore per day.
If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 32.85 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.44 %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 144540 tons per year of copper.

They promise to get 180000 tons per year of copper.
How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?

How a plant Antofagasta Minerals "CENTINELA" (Chile) can have a 125 %  recovery of copper? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant. They will have a deficit of 35460 tons of copper per year.
In reality, the shortage of copper concentrate will be more than 102200 tons per year.

IMHO: This is not copper, gold and molybdenum which you can sell on the exchange!
Copper concentrate  from the plant Antofagasta Minerals "CENTINELA" (Chile) is an intermediate product that is cheap and requires further processing and significant financial costs.

They wrote: "...gold reserves are approximately 0.15 grams per ton of copper....".
IMHO: This is a small phishing word trap. I explain. This means that the ore contains 0.00066 grams of gold per ton of ore
A copper smelter will profit from this gold, but not "Centinela". The buyer will pay only for copper concentrate, but not for the gold and molybdenum that it contains.

The molybdenum content in the ore is 0.011 %.
The maximum amount of molybdenum (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 4417 tons per year of molybdenum in concentrate.

They promise "..which gives it perspectives to produce a yearly average of 150000 tons per year of fine copper in concentrates...and 11000 tons per year of molybdenum... "

How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?
How a plant KGHM "SIERRA GORDA (SCM)" (Chile) can have a 117 %  recovery of copper and 250 % recovery of molybdenum? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper and molybdenum at the plant. They will have a deficit of 21520 tons of copper in concentrate per year and 6583 tons of molybdenum in concentrate per year .

In reality, the shortage of copper concentrate will be more than 61500 tons per year.

HOW TO LOSE EVERYTHING. Bad advice on investment at mining

By Ph.D. Natalia Petrovskaya

The first bad advice. If someone persistently urges you to invest in the "True matter", "The Eighth Wonder of the World", etc., then always agree! You thing that it is insulting to miss such a direct possibility of multiplying your capitals!
It's the same as playing in the Casino. But after all, the casinos are full of people! May be it will give you confidence.

My comments on the situation:
But most likely everything will happen quite the contrary...

Some people scold me that I advised you to make an accurate calculation before investing in something, such as a mineral deposit. This can be understood. After all, the casino also does not welcome MathPlayers!

But I am a disinterested person. Invest in what you want! And as much as possible!
Anyway, tomorrow you all will come to me with your so-called "mineral deposits" for my help to return to you at least part of your lost money. After all, except me, no one can really help you with the case... All others are just talking and promising.

And only that man, who is wise, will come to me today to get advice before investing, to get the gain. This is your money! You choose!

Bad advice 2. Believe the promises of brokers, geologists, consultants, friends and acquaintances! Believe a large number of likes and positive comments at the Internet, a large number of signatures and recommendations of authorized persons. Do not hesitate, do not delve into the process, do not check anything, just buy or invest!
Here are a lot of them! They have a unanimous opinion, so it is true. They know what they say, probably?!

The main thing is to do it very quickly! What the independent experts and independent additional samples and studies? Just no time! Such treasure will immediately go to someone more nimble!

Anyway, that’s how many papers already signed. Enough of these documents! After all, these authorized people with degrees could not sign something if they were not completely sure that everything is OK! However, confuses the fact that many of the signatories were from different countries and very distant … But it is even better! World experience in action! However, do these respected people with degrees know about their signatures on documents?

Let your hope warms you that billionaires, who make their fortunes in mining, exist and you will soon join their ranks.

My expert opinion on this situation

Tell me, would you buy a work of art for several hundred million dollars without the conclusion of several independent experts? Probably not.

There are very few true experts in art, but there are a lot of fakes. The services of experts are expensive, but much cheaper than the price of the very work of art. Only experts can distinguish a masterpiece from a fake. Fraudsters often forge their signatures, and experts themselves are subjected to pressure and threats.

I am a disinterested person. I do not care. It is your choice, your money and your decision.

But no one can make a masterpiece from a fake. This is cheating and / or self-deception. However, there are always those who are happy to be deceived. At mining, everything is like at art, only more complicated. There is no clear boundary between the fake and the original. After all, one master – Mother Nature, creates both. She has one style for all her works: masterpieces, drafts and just creative garbage. Try to distinguish them!

The price of the issue: Several billion dollars (or more) spent on the mineral field, infrastructure and plant (a typical project without calculations).
Then, without seeing tangible results, you will start going to the laboratories for many years so that they can get at least something from your “ore” for you. After decades, you will pay for the services of almost all laboratories in the world.
Why do you need all this?

As a result, you will come to me with the last hope. I undertake the implementation of only those projects that can be implemented with a guaranteed profit at the present level of development of science and technology. But I do not undertake the implementation of projects that can not be completed in 1-3 years.   More…

Consider each “mineral field” as fake until you CONVINCINGLY prove the opposite!

A wise person will first get my conclusion from me directly to know if the discovery is a true mine, or is it another fake.  More…

Technologies of copper-porphyry ore processing have been used for over 100 years, but they are "Innovative technologies" for RUSSIAN COPPER COMPANY?

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

Russian Copper Company Plant "CJSC Tomensky Mining and Processing Enterprise" ("The Tominskiy Processing Plant", "Tominsky GOK") (Russia)

Owners: Russian Copper Company (RCC)  (74,51% Groundhill Enterprises Limited (Cyprus), 25,49% Metallstar Holdings Limited (Cyprus))

Let's count together:

Plant productivity is 28 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.4 %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 112000 tons per year of copper.

For further calculation, I use data from a similar Plant "Mikheevsky Gok" (RMS):
  • the copper content in the concentrate is 34.5 %
  • recovery of copper in concentrate is 62-65%.
My calculations show that the maximum amount of copper concentrate is 210000 tons per year.
They promise to get 500000 tons of copper concentrate per year.

How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?
How can  recovery of
copper concentrate at a plant "Tominsky GOK (Russia)" be 238 %? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)
They will have a deficit of 290000 tons of copper in concentrate per year.

IMHO: Suppose they produce 500000 tons of concentrate per year.
My calculations show that in this case, the concentrate will contain about 15 % copper. More than half of this concentrate will be silicate minerals. These are silicate minerals that form a gel when reacted with sulfuric acid. This means that further processing of such a concentrate is not possible and cost-effective.
 Who made recommendations for the construction of a plant with such low factors?

Technologies of copper-porphyry ore processing have been used for over 100 years, but they are "Innovative technologies" for Russian Copper Company?
They could not solve the problem of silicates for 100 years. Now this is your problem too.

Two plants "División El Teniente de Codelco" and "Minera Valle Central" processed the same ore and extracted 70000-75000 tons of copper more than theoretically possible?

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

CODELCO "EL TENIENTE" (Chile)

Owners:  Codelco (Chile)

Let's count together:

They process  137000 tons per day.
If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 50 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.86 (0.56) %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 430000 (280000) tons per year of copper.

CODELCO "EL TENIENTE" has already received 465040 tons of copper in 2018 and 459744 tons of copper in 2019.
How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?

Copper shortage should be 30000-35000 tons per year (180000-185000).

How can copper recovery at a plant CODELCO "EL TENIENTE" (Chile) be 108 (166) %? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant plant CODELCO "EL TENIENTE" (Chile). How did they produce more copper what is contained in the ore?

The most interesting thing is that the plant "Minera Valle Central", which process the tailings of the plant "El Teniente", did not go bankrupt and produced another 40000 tons of copper from tails. How did the MVC receive so much copper if Codelco extracted everything and tails do not contain copper?

IMHO: Two plants "División El Teniente de Codelco" and "Minera Valle Central" processed the same ore and extracted 70000-75000 tons of copper more than theoretically possible? (Recovery 118 %?)

Copper concentrate from the plant NEWMONT GOLDCORP - TECK "NuevaUnión" (Chile) is an intermediate product that is cheap and requires further processing and significant financial costs.

From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor"

"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

NEWMONT GOLDCORP - TECK "NuevaUnión" (Chile)

Owners:
Newmont Goldcorp, USA (50 % )
Teck (50 %), Canada

Let's count together (fase I):

They promise to have a productivity of 104000 tons per day.
If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 38 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.388 %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 147440 tons per year of copper in concentrate.

They promise to get 224000 tons per year of copper in concentrate.
How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?

How can copper recovery at a plant NEWMONT GOLDCORP - TECK "NuevaUnión" (Chile) be 152 %? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant and they will have a deficit of 76570 tons of copper in concentrate per year.
In reality, the shortage of copper concentrate will be more than 230000 tons per year.

IMHO: This is not copper, gold and molybdenum which you can sell on the exchange!
Copper concentrate  from the plant NEWMONT GOLDCORP - TECK "NuevaUnión" (Chile)  is an intermediate product that is cheap and requires further processing and significant financial costs.

They at the plant Freeport-McMoRan "EL ABRA" (Chile) promise to get "fine copper in concentrate"? It's impossible! Copper concentrate contains minerals (e.g. chalcopyrite ...)!

 From the series of publications
"So they create a fairy tales for the investor" -
"They draw up the necessary documents
and begin to search for the simpleton..."

FREEPORT MCMORAN "EL ABRA" (Chile)

Owners:
Freeport-McMoRan, USA (51 % )
Codelco, Chile (49 %)

Let's count together:

They promise to have a productivity of 150000-240000 tons per day.

If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 54.7-87.6 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.45 %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 246400-394200 tons per year of copper.

They promise to get 450000 tons per year of copper in concentrate.

How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?

How can copper recovery at a plant "EL ABRA" (Chile) be 170-114 %? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant and they will have a deficit of 203600-55800 tons of copper in concentrate per year.

IMHO: This is not copper which you can sell on the exchange!
This is a copper concentrate that requires additional processing! Unknown copper concentration in concentrate.

In reality, the shortage of copper concentrate will be more than 611000-167000 tons per year.

Moreover, with a capacity of 150000 tons per day, they can never get 340000 tons per year of copper in concentrate. Shortage of 94 tons per year of copper in concentrate.
