Copper concentrate deficit at the plant BHP "SPENCE GROWTH OPTION" (Chile) may reach more than 165000-123000 tons per year?

PLANT "SPENCE GROWTH OPTION" (SGO) Chile

Owners: BHP (Australia)

Let's count together:
They promise to have a productivity of 95000-105000 tons per day.

If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 34.7-38.3 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.47 %.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 163,000-180,000 tons per year of copper in concentrate.

They promise to get 185,000 tons of payable copper in concentrate per year.

How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?
How can copper recovery at a plant "PLANT "SPENCE GROWTH OPTION" (SGO, BHP) Chile be 114-103 %? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant and they will have a deficit of 22,000-4,900 tons of payable copper in concentrate per year.

How can 52000 tons of copper be extracted from 50000 tons of copper in concentrate?

IMHO: This is not copper which you can sell on the exchange!
This is a copper concentrate that requires additional processing! Unknown copper concentration in concentrate.
In reality, the shortage of payable copper in concentrate will be more than 40,000-55,000 tons per year.
Copper concentrate deficit may reach more than 165,000-123,000 tons per year.

How can copper recovery at a plant "COMPAÑÍA MINERA DOÑA INÉS DE COLLAHUASI (Chile)" be 159-129%?

Glencore (44%), (Switzerland)
Japan Collahuasi Resources B.V. (12%), consorcio integrado por Mitsui & Co., Nippon Mining & Metals Co. y Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., (Japan)

Let's count together:
They promise to have a productivity of 170000-210000 tons per day.

If the plant works 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the plant’s productivity will be 62.05-76.65 million tons per year.

The copper content in the ore is 0.72%.
The maximum amount of copper (theoretically possible) that they can extract from their ore is 446760-551880 tons per year of copper.

They promise to get 701000 tons of copper per year.
How is this possible?
How can one extract and sell something that does not exist in principle?

How can copper recovery at a plant "COMPAÑÍA MINERA DOÑA INÉS DE COLLAHUASI (Chile)" be 159-129%? (The recovery cannot be more than 100%!)

IMXO: It is theoretically impossible to produce such an amount of copper at the plant and they will have a deficit of 263240-158120 tons of copper per year.

A flotation cell is not "A time machine"

One asked me: "They often write about their flotation cells "very fast collection kinetics", "extremely fast kinetic of flotation", "rapid kinetics", "faster flotation kinetics" ..."

I answeredThey do not understand what happens when flotation in a flotation machine.
"A flotation cell is not "A time machine".
The kinetic curve changes all the time, therefore, the flotation rate changes all the time."

Flotation kinetics is studying the regularities of flotation process at the time...  More

Flotation cell is a mineral separation machine. Why do I need a machine that cannot separate minerals?

Virginia Lawson (Glencore Technology, Jameson Cell Technology Manager, Australia) wrote "Enhancing the Performance of Cu-Mo Circuits Using the Jameson Cell"  (Procemin 2016 12th International Mineral Processing Conference) More

IMHO: Flotation cell is a mineral separation machine. What minerals does Jameson Cell separate during Cu-Mo flotation? Worse, the recovery of Cu in molybdenum concentrate is much higher than Mo. 

If they extract 20% Mo in Mo concentrate, then simultaneously extract 50% Cu in Mo concentrate.
In order for the separation to proceed successfully, it is necessary that this be an almost horizontal line.

 Why do I need a machine that cannot separate minerals?

Why does Glencore Technology insist on buying Jameson Cell that are not suitable for Cu-Mo flotation?

This is not Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems. This is a flotation mixing for pneumatic flotation with coagulation and flocculation

DYNAMIX Acitators wrote: "Mixing for Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems
(coagulation, flocculation and flotation systems)" More 

They supply compressed air to flotation, so this is not Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) Systems. This is a flotation mixing for pneumatic flotation with coagulation and flocculation

Pneumatic flotation machines, in which pulp aeration is done by supplying the compressed air to a pneumatic system of aeration.
